European Court Rules Travel Time to Work is Work

regulationThe European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled that time spent travelling to and from first and last appointments by workers without fixed offices should count as working time. Presently this is not the case.

It could mean companies employing workers such as electricians, gas fitters, care workers and sales reps could be in breach of EU working time regulations.
